Is Bitcoin a Scam

Is Bitcoin a Scam is my first post because I think many think it is.

I used to, actually.

But super exciting to launch our new business and get the world around me learning about cryptos.

Sometimes because I’m in the space day in and day out, I don’t realize that 98% of the rest of the world around me knows either nothing of cryptos or has just heard about it.

Why do people wait so long to buy bitcoin?

Well, I remember hearing about cryptos back in November 2020.

Well, that’s not exactly true.

I heard about this thing called ‘bitcoin’ about 5-7 years ago from our youngest son! John was only 10 at the time and he wanted me to buy him a computer so he could mine bitcoin in his gaming room.

I was like, “Uh, no I’m not spending $2,500 on a computer to mine bitcoin.” We told him it was probably a scam and he could do more with $2,500 than mine some digital scam coin.

Well, I guess the joke was on us.

If he had started mining Bitcoins back in 2014, John would have many Bitcoin right now.

You have to realize, that was 2 halving’s ago and way easier for a computer to get awarded the Bitcoin.

And also 2 halving’s ago, you were rewarded many more coins too per block!

So to answer my question – why did we wait so long to buy any Bitcoin – it was probably because we thought as well, is Bitcoin a scam?

Is Bitcoin a Scam – Should you buy it?

So I totally can understand why people don’t buy Bitcoin.

We didn’t for 7 years!

I’ve even heard people say that they think Bitcoin is a pyramid scam too.

But in November 2020, something triggered in my mind. I was wanting to go back in the workforce after being a stay-at-home mom for 25 years. And I knew I had great skills that I’ve utilized all these years working in the office for our remodeling business.

When I read up on Bitcoin in 2020, I realized it wasn’t just about Bitcoin.

But that there was a whole other economy being built alongside Bitcoin too.

That’s when it hit me that this was going to be huge – like the “.com” of our time – Web 3.0!

Bitcoin Youtube Channel

Yep, I went from not knowing anything about Bitcoin in November 2020, to now running a livestream every morning, M-F, covering the current Bitcoin news.

Mark and I are just short of being a Bitcoin maxi.

But honestly, I am the one who likes a few other alt coins!

So please check out our YouTube channel and learn from us. We will be learning alongside you as well.

Here is one of our latest videos and we’d love for you to subscribe as well!

Free bitcoin content

Coming soon on our website will be loads of free content for you to learn from.

I think learning about cryptocurrencies will be necessary.

Not only necessary from an investment perspective, but also so that you might be able to make a professional pivot if needed.

The decentralized finance (DeFi) space is going to put a lot of people out of work if they do not start to get ahead of their competition and learn about DeFi, Dapps, and all things blockchain.

Check out this great developer and courses he offers, Ivan on Tech Academy.

I took a bunch of his courses and really feel he’s been pivotal to me learning about blockchain technology. You can buy just one course or all of them. I highly recommend you check them out. And Ivan always has discounts off of his courses. It’s honestly some of the best money you’ll ever spend.

Some of my links are affiliate links, but I honestly would not recommend a product if I have not used it myself. You can also receive a Certificate of Completion from each course after you’ve taken the tests that Ivan on Tech Academy provides. Then, you can post them on LinkedIn and hopefully get one of the first new jobs starting to emerge out in the marketplace.

Once going through some technical training, you too won’t think, “Is Bitcoin a scam?” but know it’s a new, emerging technology.
